Kalas Gin

Kalas (local dialect meaning "Party") Gin, is the first Gin from the souther danish distillery, Destilleriet Als.

It's a fairly juniper forward Gin, made with traditional botanicals like juniper, coriander seeds, camomile and cardamon, which makes it very suitable for both cocktails, as well as neat or sipping as Gin & Tonic.

We agree with the distillery, that the use of the Fuglsang Black Pepper tonic, fits relly well as a Gin & Tonic. However - this tonic is a bit to the sweeter side, so if you prefer a more dry version of a Gin & Tonic, try the Fever-Tree Aromatic tonic, which also works very well with the Gin.
