Gin Mare

Gin is HUGE in Spain! You will find gin bars all over the country which is also why you will find many, very interesting Spanish gins. Gin Mare (pronounced: gin ma-ray) is now one of the giants on the gin market world wide, but that doesn’t make it less interesting! 

Gin Mare smells herbaceous, with juniper and thyme dominating. Olives are also apparent. When you taste it, juniper with a burst of basil, rosemary and thyme emerge as well as coriander. It is an unusual smooth gin when used in a Gin & Tonic together with their own tonic water, 1724, especially made for this gin - or a Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic - together with a slice of red grapefruit and a rosemary twig.
