Kyrö Napue Rye Gin

Kyrö Napue Rye Gin is a genuine masterpiece from the finnish Kyrö Distillery Company, and was awarded the worlds best Gin, for use in Gin & Tonics, back in 2015.

This Gin is made from a basedistillate of rye….! This together with the unique combo of botanicals like cranberry, sea buckthorn, birch leaves and ofcourse junipers, is the main reason for this being the truely unique Gin, this is.

The idea for this Gin, came about - not entirely surprisingly - in a sauna. But this being Finland, it's not so easy to get the required permits, to be able to distill spirits. And combined with the fact they also had to completely renovate a worn out cheese factory first, it took a full 2 years, before everything was ready for production of Gin.

We would like to personally, thank the good people behind Kyrö Distillery Company, for their patience and will not hesitate a second, to call this Gin one of our absolute favourittes.
