Nordés Atlantic Galician Gin

The Spanish gin, Nordés, really sets out to be a different gin in many ways! It all starts with how the base gin is made – instead of using the more commonly used grain in the spirit distillation they use the local Albariño grape. Then they have added 12 botanicals including lemon peels, hibiscus, liquorice and eucalyptus – and yes, you have probably seen these in gins before, but the end result is still a very different gin. If it is the botanicals combined with the Albariño grape spirit is hard to say, but the nose have clear hints of peach and raspberries with almost no present of juniper. It is almost a perfumed, rich and sweet gin. With a Mediterranean tonic, lots of ice and a slice of ripe mango, and you have a wonderful sweet cocktail like GT

This gin is not for the old school, juniper fans, but many contemporary gin lovers will be very happy
